My life, and the move to Dubai

Ewan Sherriff was born in Forfar, Scotland in 1968 and spent his early years there, Dunfermline and then in Selkirk in The Scottish Borders region, returning close to Dundee in 1976. Ewan attended Forthill Primary school in Broughty Ferry until leaving to join Dundee The High School in 1980.
 
In 1985 Ewan left to go to University (still in Dundee) to study Law. Ewan completed his honours course there and graduated in 1989 before also studying the diploma in legal practice, obtaining that in 1990.

Ewan was married in 2002 in Dunblane and took his honeymoon in the south of Spain. His and Kirstin's first child, Niamh was born in 2004 and they have also been blessed with Ben and Finn who were born respectively in 2005 and 2008.

Having long held an interest in the Middle East, the Sheriff family decided to relocate there at the beginning of 2009, looking for fresh challenges and a better way of life. The Sherriff family moved to Dubai permanently in April 2010 and have never looked back.
